Prize: A Case of Rum shall be awarded to the Club whose team wins. By accepting the Case of Rum, the winning Club agrees to share the Case of Rum with all of the competitors who participated in the Rum Challenge, at a free party hosted by the Club on a date in the fall, to be agreed upon between Detroit Boat Club and the winning Club. If the winning Club will not host the party, then the Case of Rum will be awarded to the highest finishing Club which agrees to host the party.
Eligibility: Minimum of three (3) sailboats from any club may race in the Rum Challenge Race.
J & M Race: The Rum Challenge is a jib and main race. No spinnakers are allowed.
Location: Start and Finish 2021 Location as listed in the NOR.
